Will this crisis be your final hour, or your finest hour?

Greetings and Salutations,

I want to go back and take another look at Mark 4:35-41 - KJV: “And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full…and he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm (vs. 37;39). I want us to keep in mind that no matter how great the storm may be, the calm will always be greater.

Notice, when Jesus arose, He spoke to the invisible realm first, then He spoke to the visible realm. As the text explained, it began with a great storm, but ended with a great calm. The wind is invisible, but the effects of the wind are visible. When Jesus rebuked the wind (the invisible), it ceased, and then the great calm (the visible) took effect.

You will never get the desired results in the natural world, until you are willing to address the supernatural first. You can't fight fire with fire, you must have water. You can't fight fear with fear, you must have faith.  “And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him (vs. 40-41)?

The only reason why the sea became obedient to Jesus, was because He spoke to the wind; which was invisible. In closing, I want to leave you with this statement: never make a permanent decision in the midst of a temporary problem. Will this crisis be your final hour, or your finest hour?

Peace Out,

Pastor
